Albums

Toto's discography comprises 13 studio albums and four live albums. There are also a few compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The band has received multiple Grammy Awards.

Before Toto was formed The members of the band played session work for other musicians. David Paich, the son of drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all performed on Boz Scaggsalbum from 1975 Silk Degrees. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in 1976.

The third album of Toto, Turn Back, marked a departure from the more progressive sound of their previous albums, and was criticised for its absence of hit singles.
